About the Company

Lyter is on a mission to bring the future of electric-based technologies to the world. We combine the agility of a startup with the precision of an experienced manufacturer, focusing on a relentless pursuit of perfection in everything from simple home solutions to complex industrial tech. With an expansive pan-India presence and a dedicated design/engineering team, we leverage our state-of-the-art facilities to provide customers with the finest in electrical innovation. Join us as we advance the realms of quality and redefine the customer experience.

The Roleโ€™s Mission

As our Human Resources (HR) Manager, you are the architect of Lyterโ€™s digital and operational people strategy. Your mission is to move our people operations into the future by leading the implementation of our new HRMS system across all locations. You provide the operational stability and technical agility that allow us to grow. You are highly energetic and hands-on, ensuring every employee is supported, every payroll is accurate, and our new software is successfully adopted by every member of the Lyter family.

The Role: Digital Transformation & Operational Excellence

We are looking for a proactive HR professional who thrives on detail, technology, and organizational rigor. You will take full ownership of the daily HR lifecycleโ€”Attendance, Leave, and Payrollโ€”while acting as the primary Project Lead for our HRMS deployment.

Key Outcomes (First 6 Months)

  • HRMS Deployment: Partner with our new HRMS vendor to successfully onboard the software and implement Lyterโ€™s specific HR requirements across all locations for all personnel.
  • Digital Transition: Achieve 100% adoption of the new system for attendance, leave, and payroll, eliminating manual tracking and “data debt.”
  • Zero-Error Payroll: Establish a seamless monthly payroll process integrated within the new HRMS with 100% accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • HRMS Project Leadership: Act as the internal lead for the new HRMS rollout. This includes data migration, module configuration, setting up approval workflows, and ensuring the system meets the unique needs of our manufacturing and office sites.
  • Vendor Partnership: Work closely with the software vendor to troubleshoot issues, customize reporting, and ensure the platform scales as Lyter grows.
  • Payroll & Attendance Management: Lead the end-to-end payroll process using the new system. Monitor daily attendance logs and manage the leave approval workflow with high precision.
  • Training & Onboarding: Conduct training sessions for all employees across Pan-India locations to ensure they are comfortable using the new HRMS for their daily needs.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full talent acquisition cycleโ€”from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding high-performers who support our scaling efforts.
  • Statutory Compliance: Handle all filings and documentation for PF, ESIC, PT, and Labor Laws, ensuring the new HRMS remains compliant with Indian regulations.
  • Employee Lifecycle & Records: Manage onboarding, performance appraisals, and offboarding. Maintain 100% accurate digital records for all personnel.

What You Bring

  • Tech-Savviness: you are a “power user” of HR technology. You understand how software should work to make life easier, not harder.
  • High Energy & Agility: You thrive in a scaling environment. You are comfortable moving between ground-level factory operations and high-level software implementation.
  • Hands-On Leadership: You don’t just delegate the software setup; you dive into the settings and data to ensure itโ€™s built correctly.
  • Change Management: You have the communication skills (in Hindi and English) to help people transition from old manual ways of working to new digital processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist. Previous experience in implementing or onboarding an HRMS/Payroll software is a must.
  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of database logic and HR software modules.
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.

Autonomy: A proven track record of performing HR duties and managing vendors without constant supervision.
